The projects I have been asked to design, mill and, many times, construct have lead to some interesting and creative jobs in various locations within the Southeast. Examples of some of my work are displayed below.

Quarter sawn pine lap sliding, fascia, soffit and trim specifically cut to replace rotted and weather damaged boards on this home built in c.1860. The lumber used on this project were specifically selected tight-grain Pine logs, cut, kiln-dried, straight-line ripped, and milled at our facility.

A c.1850 Pennsylvania Dutch underground railroad two-story log structure dismantled, relocated from Pennsylvania and reassembled on homeowners lot in Little Switzerland, PA to be used as a garage and loft guest house.

Renovation of this historical c.1870 Whiskey Bonding Barn in Molena, GA consisted of milling and installing rough sawn, pressure treated pine floor-joists, kiln-dried quarter sawn tight-grain pine flooring 1 1/4" thick x 4" wide, trim, fascia, all door and window frames replaced with 3" x 14" pressure treated pine, all roof rafters and purlins were rough sawn, air-dried red oak timber frame support beams.

Pine trusses were milled and constructed for the Hickory Hills Golf Course Clubhouse in Thomaston, GA. The trusses were milled, air-dried, grade stamped per the Southern Building Code, delivered to the site, assembled on-site with steel plates and erected by the Contractor.

Log home timber frame roof truss manufactured at our sawmill from 1800 hand-hewn barn logs for reassembly in North Carolina.  The logs were purchased and brought in from the mid-West. The roof truss beams were cut to size on our Wood-Mizer LT70 bandsaw.
